A sequel to 'Interview With The Vampire',
this one has a difficult plot to follow - it really contains all but the kitchen
sink. Any connection with the usual notions of vampirism is distant and strained.
Anne Rice's novel offered some good ideas, but they really don't hang together
too well. New faces in major roles further reduces the continuity with its
predessor, let alone other vampire movies For all that, it has a fast pace,
plenty of action, and is ultimately redeemd by Aaliyah's superb and sensual rendition
of the title role. - Starring: Aaliyah, Stuart Townsend,
